Lena is a surface pattern designer and illustrator living in Houston, TX. The fun fact is that Lena never dreamed about an art career when she was a kid. She used to dream about becoming a ballerina.
Her interest in illustration and surface pattern design developed gradually after obtaining a degree in Interior design. Surrounded by samples of fabrics and wallpaper, she felt inspired and excited to go down that road.
Lena draws inspiration from her childhood memories, her kids and nature. Besides creating artwork, Lena enjoys walking in the woods, collecting nature treasures and rock climbing with her family.
