The DAISIE Company designers are all Gina Jane Johnson Lee’s family members.
Their beloved designs are joyfully created with a blend of vivid color, attention to detail, moody shadows, and splashes of light.
DAISIE Company was born in 1997 on a rainy day in February. Magically, snow began to fall. All four of her kids dressed in their winter coats, mittens, and hats; and started sliding down a flight of stairs in laundry baskets. This moment inspired Gina Jane’s first series of snowman family artwork.
As her children grew up, Gina taught them each how to paint with watercolor and acrylic and draw with pencil and pastels. They learned the process of creating art, scanning it, and preparing the files for production in Photoshop. Recently, they learned to paint digitally on an iPad using Procreate.
Today, her children and ten grandchildren reside in four different states spread across the US. Collectively they find new inspiration for their artwork gathered in various places such as the village of Old Tucson, the forests of the Rocky Mountains, the rural towns of Georgia, and the backwoods and coastlines of Florida. Their love for the backroads and byways continues to bring the best opportunities to capture the perfect photo opportunities.
THE DAISIE COMPANY artists and designers began creating a blend of traditional and whimsical artwork in 2006. They continue to build their extraordinary portfolio today, with a splash of seasonal florals and wildlife, a dash of delightful snowmen, and a chorus of Christmas themes.
