Anne Gregory (aka AGregoryArt) earned her degree in Graphic Design, launched a career in ad agencies, then moved on to the corporate world in marketing, product development & investor relations. She finally realized she loved making art more than all those other things ... picked up her paintbrush and has never looked back! Her portfolio of illustrations and pattern designs is chock full of painterly designs for products, inspired by the miracles of nature. She works in watercolor, oils, multi-media and digital design and loves a vivid color palette.
While her home is in Sugar Land, Texas, she grew up in the Catskill Mountains in New York in a small town where there are more cows than people. Her Grandma was a quilter who taught her how to sew at a very young age, igniting a creative spark that led to years of designing and sewing her own outfits (including her wedding trousseau).
She loves walking barefoot on soft green mountain moss and makes sure to always stop to smell the forget-me-nots. She collects twigs, toadstools, and moss. Wildflowers bring her to her knees. Sometimes she pretends to be a gourmet chef so she can play with creative garnishes & colorful plating. Anne is grateful to her husband of 40 plus years who encourages her to focus on her art and, thankfully, also loves her cooking.
